Mandatory Qualifications
Interns must be 16 years old by June 10th, 2025. River City High School students must have completed at least one course in one of WUSD’s Career Technical Education Pathways. View qualifying courses here. Yolo High School and Washington Middle College students must have a recommendation form filled out by a teacher or counselor. All participants must have also participated in or watched a recording of an online informational session about the internships offered by the Home Run team.
Responsibilities
Picking and carrying packages in the warehouse, loading boxes onto pallets, and placing bagged powder into boxes in the factory.
General factory work such as product filling (sealing), product boxing, warehouse etc.

Quality Control department ensures products meet safety and regulation standards from the initial product development stages all the wat to deliver, contributing to customer satisfaction.
Preferred Abilities
Interest in food. Ability to lift 45 LB or more.

Special Project
There are no special projects, but you will gain experience with a food production team that continues to grow each year.
Additional Information
This position involves working in a warehouse around machinery. The intern will not be operating machinery.
