Mandatory Qualifications
Interns must be 16 years old by June 10th, 2025. River City High School students must have completed at least one course in one of WUSD’s Career Technical Education Pathways. View qualifying courses here. Yolo High School and Washington Middle College students must have a recommendation form filled out by a teacher or counselor. All participants must have also participated in or watched a recording of an online informational session about the internships offered by the Home Run team.
Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for assembling electronic & mechanical components along with testing those assemblies to ensure ZERO failures and tight compliance with quality control measure. Additionally, the intern may be responsible for operating CNC and manual machines (lathe, mill) that create the parts used in the assemblies, along with various other manufacturing operations.

Nellis Engineering manufactures high performance Diver Propulsion Vehicles (DPV) for SCUBA diving. Our brand, Logic Dive Gear has been the leader in performance and design innovation since 2012. It is a very niche market and we cater to advanced divers at the top end of the market. Applicants with SCUBA diving experience are encouraged to apply.
